MeasuTiles
Tactile Measurement Set for Spatial Awareness

Visora NumTiles are tactile number tiles designed for blind and low-vision children. Each tile represents a digit from 0 to 9 using raised felt dots and large-print numerals. These tiles can be used independently or with the Visora TactoNu board
How to Use?
MeasuTiles are tactile felt tiles that help blind and low-vision children grasp measurement concepts through touch. Each precision-cut tile represents a unit (0.5″, 1″, 2″, 3″, etc.) and allows kids to explore length, size comparison, and estimation. Linked by a sturdy metal ring, they’re portable, durable, and classroom-friendly.
Step 1: Let the child explore each tile by touch
Step 2: Introduce the name and length of each tile (e.g., “This is 1 inch”)
Step 3: Ask the child to compare tile sizes and order them from shortest to longest
Step 4: Play games like “Which tile is half of this one?” or “Which is the longest?”
Step 5: Estimate the length of objects using tiles.
