The Math Kit journey

The kit went through many versions. The material had to be durable, safe to touch and affordable — so it was rebuilt from cloth, to moulded board, and finally engineered from a manufacturer’s industrial waste at near-zero cost. Tested and refined with blind students and educators at every step.

The Reflexology Kit journey

Refined at every stage through real feedback: from a small circular concept, to an A4 9 mm version trialled at Inside Me (where labels were redesigned to stay secure), to a resized 5 mm, 55-placard set deployed at the Blind Relief Association — compact, durable and easy to store.

The effort behind it

Two years of learning and prototyping — and counting

Building Visora meant learning Braille from scratch, completing a university course on teaching visually-impaired learners, interviewing blind students, consulting educators and manufacturers, and iterating through many prototypes over more than two years — work that is still going on — engineering each placard as a precise CNC file so it can be reproduced accurately, anywhere.
