The Kits

Reflexology Kit

Tactile acupressure training for blind adults.

55 tactile placards

  • Course running at BRA · 360 students

Acupressure points and meridians used to live only in diagrams blind learners couldn’t see. The Reflexology Kit makes them something you can feel — 55 raised-relief placards with Braille labels, machine-produced so every one is accurate and identical, replacing the inconsistent hand-made diagrams used before.

Refined through real field-testing — labels secured, board slimmed 9 mm → 5 mm, expanded to 55 placards. Now in active use at the Blind Relief Association, where an acupressure course runs with the kit.

The Reflexology Kit in use

Four learners in Blind Relief Association polo shirts sitting in a row, each reading a raised-relief tactile diagram resting on their lap.
An instructor at the Blind Relief Association leaning in to point out a feature on a learner’s tactile diagram, while others in the row read their own raised-relief sheets.
